What you need to be visible on the Internet:
Your domain name is the electronic address known as a URL.
URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator and is a reference (a unique address) to a publicly accessible resource on the Internet.
We can purchase domain names (i.e. www.yourname.co.uk) on your behalf. We can also advise you on transferring any existing domains that you own to websites that we design for you.
Hosting is a service whereby you rent a set amount of space on high-specification servers which are connected directly and permanently to the Internet. This rented space is where you store your web pages so that anyone who is connected to the Internet can look at them.
Some customers have their own compatible servers on-site, but if not we can purchase hosting on your behalf for a small administrative fee. There are also FREE hosting packages available if you just want a very basic website or blog.
Prices start from just £1.99 per annum. Any final price will depend on the package(s) taken out, and any additional online facilities (i.e email, newsletters, audio or visual features) that you require for your online resource.
